Terms
Terms of use
These terms set the boundary between a planning calculator and the site-specific engineering needed for a real solar or battery installation.
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Using the site
You may use SolarMathKit for lawful personal, educational, and commercial planning. You are responsible for the values you enter and for checking whether the output fits your equipment, site, and intended use.
Planning estimates
Calculator results are estimates based on the inputs and formulas shown. They are not quotes, warranties, electrical designs, permits, safety certifications, tax advice, or instructions to install equipment.
Actual performance can differ because of weather, temperature, shade, battery age, discharge rate, equipment behavior, installation quality, measurement error, and other site-specific conditions.
Your responsibility
Before buying, wiring, or operating equipment, check manufacturer documentation, voltage and current limits, protection requirements, local rules, and site conditions. Use a qualified professional for safety-critical design and installation.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the site, bypass security controls, overload the service, introduce malicious code, scrape in a way that harms availability, or use the content to misrepresent a planning estimate as a certified design.
Content and software
The site layout, copy, diagrams, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may link to public pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. These terms do not grant a right to republish the site or calculator code as your own service.
Availability and changes
SolarMathKit may correct formulas, revise presets, change pages, or suspend the service. The methodology page records the current formula version and review date.
Liability boundary
To the extent allowed by law, SolarMathKit is provided without a guarantee that estimates will match actual output, runtime, equipment compatibility, or installation results. You remain responsible for decisions made from the estimates.
